  Heatmiser Thimble Sensor White – Remote Air Temperature Sensor

  This thimble sensor is compatible with all Heatmiser thermostats that accept remote sensors. The sensing element is mounted in an attractive "thimble" enclosure for surface mounting, typically on a backplate, and should be positioned 1.4m from the floor in the natural air flow of the room.

• The real value here is where it lets you put the thermostat. Its small form factor means the sensor can be used in areas where the client wants no room thermostats mounted on the wall, so the control unit can sit in a cupboard, hallway or plant room while the temperature is still read from the room that matters. It also solves the common problem of a thermostat mounted somewhere unrepresentative — beside a radiator, in a draught, or on an external wall — where the reading never reflects how the room actually feels.
