That reversibility is worth more than it sounds. One product covers both left and right hand kitchen layouts, so there is no risk of ordering the wrong handing, and the decision can be made on site rather than at the point of order — a stopper is supplied to blank the unused tap hole.

The 1.5 bowl arrangement gives a full-size main bowl for washing up alongside a smaller half bowl for rinsing, draining vegetables or scraping plates into — the practical middle ground between a single bowl that's always full and a double bowl that eats worktop. At 165mm deep the main bowl is noticeably deeper than the 150mm bowls common at this price, so oven trays, roasting tins and large pans sit properly below the rim rather than propped against it.
